I’m known to drink coffee late at night… so I decided to take a stroll down 6th ave in hope of catching the new Satellite Coffee that just opened inside of Masa still open. It was about 6:50pm on Sunday when I finally arrived to my surprise they still were open! I read earlier on southsoundeats.com that they would only be open till like 5 but when asked they said they are still testing the waters out. Late night coffee for the win! As I sat outside in their table and chairs enjoying my coffee I got many strange looks. It was clear that this was something very new to Tacoma, unlike many other developed cites Tacoma has very few coffee places with outdoor seating at 7pm. Sitting their revealed another joy of 6th ave becoming more active at night. Beggers!

Sure is fun to sit back and watch Tacoma grow while enjoying a coffee next to the liquor store.

Masa Tacos
I had a chance to swing by Masa the other day for some happy hour action. Ordered the pulled pork and pineapple tacos and the veggie. Both were basically amazing. Not a super great happyhour deal but it tasted good.
