I was pretty amazed with the turnout, definitely brings more then soccer parking was a bit difficult so be warned. Overall it was fun to watch women on rollerskates bash into each other.

Anyways it was lots of fun, music was good, MC battles happened, kids were dancing, and people were educated about all of the wonderful hiphop education programs in Tacoma

Located at Firemans Park in downtown Tacoma hippies, goths, rockers, drunks, kids, grandmas, and even stilt walkers converged. It was an event that truly brought together people who care and love Tacoma. The stages this year looked amazing, I thought the greenery worked really well. Next year I would like to see more local food establishments taking part though. Sure the taste of Tacoma was the same weekend but the quality of the carnival food that is offered at the Taste is terrible. Great job everyone who helped make this festival a success.

Laptops have reached a point in size that I usually have mine on me all the time. Since offering wireless internet for customers is reaching a standard I don’t really get many crazy looks anymore when I take out my laptop at bars and start dorking around on the net. Sure coffee shops are the usual places which offer this amazing free service, but what other places have you found have free wifi?

Sometimes you just don’t feel like a mocha but instead want to work over a beer. This is where The Hub or Meconis have been there to fulfill this need. Both places offer power as well if you hunt enough to find it :)

It’s small and can fit about 5 comfortably you won’t find 10 laptopheads sitting drinking drip all day instead it has more of a beehive feel. People in and People out. Why do I like Satellite Coffee? I’d say because there is no bullshit… I’m constantly annoyed by some of the coffee-flys at other coffeeshops but here at Satellite there is little of this :) If you enjoy good coffee give Satellite a try, they have sorta slow service because they are perfectionists but thats ok for me.
