Yesterday was “Hiphop Started in the park” an event up in the hilltop which was about community, education, and fun. Of course all of the local media outlets were not there to cover it. hmmm wonder why…
Anyways it was lots of fun, music was good, MC battles happened, kids were dancing, and people were educated about all of the wonderful hiphop education programs in Tacoma

I can’t always get there to cover things lately, with family issues blowing up around me, but I would definitely mention events like these if you put them on the Tacomamama calendar.
I feel like shit. I had no idea this was going down. Seriously, I would’ve been there for sure. I was looking for something to do. I ended up having to resort to Woofstock as UPS.
I’d love it if you emailed me directly. Is there an email list? I don’t even remember receiving anything from 253hiphop, myspace…nothin’!
