The Hub, Tacoma

So its about 6:00pm here at the hub. You can smell the paint is still drying and this place looks amazing. They added divisions creating 3 or 4 little areas. This was key since it was the death of the St Helens Cafe. The bar can sit about 20 and there is an additional side bar that can sit 7. On tap they have all of the traditional harmon beers and for you hard-a types it looks like I see a bottle of jagermeister, whiskey, Kalua, and some other bottles I can’t read. They have a lot of staff too, just looking around I counted 15, wouldn’t be surprised if there were an additional five hiding in the back.
So far I’m extremely impressed. They have it all, food, beer, and wifi. Its not busy at all either if your worried about coming here because of the crowd don’t be there is lots of seating. (Night painting Chris Sharp)

Update: The Bartender rocks, he just denied some dude that just got out of jail that tried to use his county check to buy a few beers.

Sounds nice.
Be careful while blogging there, however, as you could set off a blogger flash mob.
Yeah its not bad I just ordered the margarita pizza, I’ll let you know how it is in like 30min
I think the crew of us (the Freitai, ensie, frinklin and others) who were at the Red Hot last night are mostly heading out there tomorrow.
cool cool, update: the bathrooms are nice, theres even a sports illustrator swimsuit edition in the can so if you want to spend a little more time
The pizza was decent, not amazing and I would actually like to see them expand there pizza selection a bit. Deepdish, different types etc. The margarita that humar(sp?) made was amazing though its all natural and has no simple sugar syrup.
Pat you did a great job on the hires so far
Ok update: his name is not humar its amad(sp?)
