Don’t be surprised if you see some people out in front of the Pantages voicing their support.

Got something to say?
This is great. Nice job In-Tacoma
I can’t take any credit just spreading the word
Just heard from Izenmania that there’s definitely protests going on there now. Says, “…looks like it’s a dual-protest, largely against Bill 2712, which is related to gang violence prevention, but with a few ‘Hip Hop Is Not A Crime’ signs mixed in.”
Yep, definitely looks more successfully than the attempted thing a couple days ago. The main emphasis of the signs seems to be on the notion that the bill is about building more jails rather than effecting actual positive change.
One sign said “2712 Is Money For Jails”, while another says something like “Jails are not a road to peace” (memory’s a bit hazy so that’s not an exact quote).
Just watched the video… a lot of the signs are similar content, but they’ve got them printed in larger size so they can actually be read, as opposed to the handmade ones from a couple days ago.
good for tacoma you cant show a peace sign then glorify violence in your shows. im glad we dont need that here!
