Earlier today, we were only able to drool on the opposite side of the glass. That is, until Hello, Cupcake opened it’s doors. I went down for the “soft” opening this afternoon with a friend. Hello, Cupcake is truly a fiest for the eyes. A gourmet cupcake shop smack dab in the middle of all the downtown commotion, right on Pacific Ave near South Sound Running and the UW bookstore. Don’t look for a huge sign proclaiming CUPCAKES! because the giant pink picture of a cupcake sitting out on the sidewalk will guide you to this location.

Mary’s Burger Bistro Just put me into a Coma

Oh man… soo good. Today I went back to Mary’s Burger if you remember they just opened about a week ago. Instead of 45 min it took 20 minutes to get my order which was not bad at all especially once I received my burger. Todays burger was amazing I ordered the Bacon Cheese burger which comes with cheese, onions, fresh tomato and ranch to drip all over it. The best part about the burger was the bacon Ive been to many places where they give you limp bacon… I dont want limp bacon! The Bacon was crispy and full of deliciousness. Take a look at this burger.

Nick Lachey visits Tacoma and is officially declared C-lister

Celebrity gossip guru perezhilton of perezhilton.com posted pictures of Lachey and girlfriend Vanessa Minillo on his blog recently. The decision to come to Tacoma and participate in AAA baseball got Lachey officially dubbed “C-lister.”
The pair flew into Tacoma and landed at the Tacoma Narrows Airport. If you are into Celebrities, this is definitely the place to get your paparazzo cam out and wait.wait.wait.wait because that’s the place to spot them coming in.

Doing a quick ip to domain search brought up a pretty good size list of domains tied with that ip. This does not mean they are all owned by phillips, my guess is hes on shared hosting. But if you want to dig a little deeper you can whois interesting ones to see if they are owned by the Phillips Foundation.

Anyone else in Tacoma awake?

The event begins 54 minutes past midnight PDT (3:54 a.m. EDT) on August 28. At first, there is little change. The outskirts of Earth’s shadow are as pale as the Moon itself; an onlooker might not even realize anything is happening. But as the Moon penetrates deeper in to the Earth’s shadow, a startling metamorphosis occurs. Around 2:52 a.m. PDT (5:52 a.m. EDT) the color of the Moon changes from moondust-gray to sunset-red. This is totality, and it lasts for almost 90 minutes.

Need to know how to work a Pole?

Walking 6th ave I came across a new business that I have never seen before… this is because it is very discreet and you have to ring the buzzer to get let in. Anyone taken classes here?

The studio has 6 poles (two in the center of the room for big work and routines, and four on the perimeter for warm up and small work).
