Urban Artists vs Rain

Wow today sure was rainy…. did it stop the urban artists of tacoma.. I think not. I posted a few photos up on flicker. At first it looked like it was going to be terrible but then a rain dance was performed on the urbanXchange stage and there was sun for a little bit… Check it out!

Today during third Thursday, Tacoma glass artist Evan Schauss showed us how he creates his foot piece collection.

The Roof, The Roof The Roof is on Fire…

The Spew tipped me off on a fire at Sanford & Son… the first thought through my head was wow there goes lots of history. Also I wonder if his fire insurance would payout for the value of all of those antiques. Anyways all is good they were really lucky and the candle that set fire happened to be under a plastic water pipe which put the fire out.
